the 3rd pl. aor2 mid. ἕντο is used by Hom. in the phrase ἐπεὶ πόσιος καὶ ἐδητύος ἐξ ἔρον ἕντο, when they had put away the desire of meat and drink, i. e. eaten and drunk enough, Virgil's postquam exempta fames epulis.
